Grief is a slap in the face that makes you rewire your entire brain, to go back through all your memories with your special someone and recode it as painful now because now this has happened, like an ink stamp stamping all the happy memories with a black cloud.
Often people get stuck in the most painful parts of grief because of survivors guilt, not having closure, being caught off guard by an unexpected death, the void of lonliness, or because their death is the very last memory so we hold onto it tightly.
The depth of the love and attatchment you had yesterday will be the same depth of the grief you gave today.
Trauma grief and pain cloud the memories so much it makes it hard to recall your entire memory bank of happy times and life experiences with them, because if you let yourself think of the happy moments the grief can slap you in the face and remind you they are no longer here, when they are always here, just in another realm.
Things i offer in my 3 session hypnotherapy package is to
1. Desensitise any flashbacks/nightmares surrounding the death of your loved one,
2. Release the supercharge/heaviness of the moment you lost the in a way that is safe easy and non retraumatising because hypnotherapy switches off your fight or flight response and recreate the memory so you can have the goodbye with them you wanted that will give you a beautiful sense of peace and closure if you never got to say goodbye.
3. Revisiting memories where you were truly happy with your loved one that may have been blocked our or clouded by the grief, feeling all those old wonderful feelings as if they are real again.
4.Closure ceremony, going to a special place you shared with your loved one in your mind and allowing them to appear. See them, feel their energy, smell their unique scent, hold them and say everything you needed to and hear them communicate back and get the answers and reassurance you need for closure. This is by far my faveourite hypnosis that i run.
4. Asking your loved one if it would be ok to take all the qualities and values you loved about them and apply them out to your future to attract them back in.
5. Cutting the energetic cord tying you to them that is grief and strengthening the energetic cord that is love so you can move forward in life without the grief but always keep the love.
Timeline therapy is going back through your unconscious mind to find the root cause and the very first time an issue/dominant emotion/ limiting belief became apart of your life.
Releasing the supercharge of this from your nervous system and subconscious (releasing can be as simple as letting go of a lifetime of anger, your subconscious may see the anger as 1000 ballons your holding by a string and letting go of the balloons and seeing them drift up until they are out of sight, everyones release will be different) and giving that younger version of you everything you needed in that moment that left a lasting impression on your life and behaviours/coping skills, since you are the only person who knows exactly what you needed.
This process will automatically recreate the memory into an updated one that will then unfold how you respond in the future, having got all the lessons, learnings, wisdom and needs met at that age.
This is an extremely powerful process for significant moments you can reemember and ones that you can not and are buried.
Timeline therapy is the most powerful therapy i personally have ever discovered and my clients and i are living proof of the results.
Willingness to try and want to quit is half your results and success. Hypnotherapy Works best if your desire to quit your addiction is for yourself and not for everyone else and is the right thing to do, otherwise your unconscious will put up alot of resistance and rebel and fight it if you do not have a deep desire to do it for yourself.
Although addictions can have many negative factors, addictions of any kind are always serving you a positve intention and this is why it is so hard to quit just on willpower, because subconscious you are getting a strong positive need met wich will overpower the negatives and keep the addiction alive in a loop. People often describe their addictions as the friend thats always there for them, relief, certainty, regulating the nervous syetem from overwhelm, The scary thing about relief though is that when we constantly get relief, the problem stays the same and nothing ever changes, we never find the root cause of what we are specifically needing relief from. This could be stuck emotions, limiting beliefs (im not worthy etc) significant life events.
In this package we dive deep into what resistance your subconscious is putting up to what is preventing quitting happening with ease and flow, finding the resistance of quitting, releasing any resistance that may be coming from blockages and recreating new mind pathways into new beneficial ones that serve you better.
Often people speak about their addictions in little metaphors, like "its like i have a little devil on my shoulder just telling me to go do it again, or i had bullet holes all through my life, my anxiety was like fire so i had to go put it out". Metaphors are your subconscious mind directly speaking so these little metahors are crucial to explode and unravel to resolve them from stuck on loop.
Getting to the root of the 2 parts of you that are working in conflict, one part of you wants to quit and one part doesn't, finding what both parts of you want for you and resolving, we are like a motor engine and when 2 parts are working against each other the car cannot move forward. This brings the 2 parts into one part that can move forward and move forward together.
Discovering the positive intention your addiction has for you and finding new creative ways to get that need met that work as well as or better then your addiction.
You werent born with the addiction, your mind created from your life experiences and just the same it can uncreate it, your mind is like playdoh and can be molded into any desired outcome you want to become.
Ever know someone who had the gastric sleve/band surgery, yet their mental health has gone down hill since, even though they have lost all the weight and look great? That is because the surgery took away a coping skill, eating for comfort. Or maybe they have lost all the weight but still have a negative body image and belief that they look " fat and disgusting and no one will want me". Thats because even with the weight shifted, It was always a subconscious belief, coping skill, programming, or relief from something deeper.
Sometimes eating disorders stem from bullying in those sensetive high school years being called fat, therefor produces a trauma response to throw up food, and sometimes restrictive eating is because a food gave them a life threatening experience, so subconsciously avoiding that food is ensuring their survival.
I have worked with clients before that have realised they subconsciously have kept weight on as a form of protection because as a child they only way their little self could learn how to cope was "if i make myself look unnattractive no one will hurt me again like that".
Weight and body image is always psycosomatic (a mind body issue) and getting to the root cause of whats causing the eating habbits weather it be overeating, purging, starving, binging, fussiness with food.
With this 4 session package we get to the root cause of the weight loss/ eating disorder and what is keeping those knots tangled in your mind and releasing them and reprogramming your subconscious with hypnotherapy.
Your mind wants to keep repating what it has evidence it can survive, this is why it is easy to lose the weight while full of motivation and then later on it piles all back on, thats because your subconscious programming and beliefs are stronger then your desire to lose weight or stop the eating disorder.
All human behaviour is serving a positive intention so together we dive into the root cause of that the positive intentions your relationships to food is getting for you, your body image, programming wounds and limiting beliefs!
This 4 session package is mindset coaching tailored to your unique needs and story, to get to the specific triggers for your anxiety. Anxiety has become a generalised label like its just some inevitable contageous thing you have to just 'manage' with medications, avoidance of the triggers and repressing and to just put up with it and accept that its a part of who you are now. But you were not born with anxiety, you learnt it through your life experiences and things that sent your fight or flight response into threat alert and your mind will set of the same alarms when it senses something familiar to that threatening event. Anxiety is doing a wonderful thing for us if you look at the other side of the coin, anxiety is there to let us know what is safe and what is not, to ensure our survival! As horrible as anxiety can feel, we should be thanking our anxiety if we are still here alive and breathing because it has made sure we can avoid reliving the same fearful experiences of the past.
Almost always with anxiety there is a sensation in the body, butterflies in the tummy, heaviness in the chest, etc. Sensations in the body are a stored wound coming up to let you know you are about to potentially relive that wound, so your body has a similar reaction to the initial event like it is real again. But these sensations come up to bring this wound into our awareness because it WANTS us to heal from it so you can be whole again and if not adressed it will keep surfacing, even if buried deep out of your conscious awareness.
Hypnotherapy is a beautiful deep relaxation wich switches off the fight or flight response so you can revisit these root cause events from s dissosciated from the heavy emotions, more rational point of view that is non overwhelming, we can then release the supercharge of the event stuck in your mind, body spirit and nervous system wich is simple safe, quick and easy, and then put some new programming in of how you would like to be, think, feel and act instead in those specific triggers of old anxiety. Claiming back a feeling of safety, confidence and being in control of your life again instead of life controlling you.
DEPRESSION is similar to anxiety but is a dissosciated state because your nervous system has been so overloaded with overwhelm and without the rescources to process it you have left your body to cope, Like your body here but mentally your not. You may feel disconnected to friends, family, your interests in life, and lack of enjoyment for things you usually enjoy. This is because your mind has blocked out the overwhelm/pain and therefor also blocked out the love, joy, connections and interests. Just like anxiety above we can help get you to the root cause of what is the underlying fuel to keep the depression burning and help put those flames out and begin to allow that ash begin to grow new fresh grass in your subconscious mind.
Hypnotherapy is the PERFECT therapy for desensitising and clearing out PTSD and trauma/ nightmares/ flashbacks/ significant distressing events because often with talk therapy wich can often leave you retraumatised talking about the event again can often switch on the fight or flight part of the mind, your mind can not tell the difference between it actually happening and remembering it, the body will produce the same response, Hypnotherapy is a beautiful safe relaxint experience because it switches off the fight or flight response and double dissosciates you from being able to revisit the memory from a calm rational logical perspective without the huge emotional response,
You can also view the memory from a third person perspective so you can see it from all angles not just inside yourself reliving it as a trauma response wich most trauma memories are.
NLP has multiple tools to rewire your subconscious and nervous system to let it know the past event is no longer a threat and that you are safe, calm, in control, empowered and have all the resources you need to process it.
Another powerful tool i use while in hypnotherapy is imagining going back a few days before the event and giving yourself all thr resources you needed to prepare yourself for this event coming so you will not be caught off guard, wich most traumatic events are.
Often no matter how old you are, the perception of these events become stuck in us from the age we experienced them, for example if something happened at 4 years old, we will stay stuck having the response a 4 year old would have to the event, frozen, shut down, running away, or exploding, therefor we will only ever have the power of a 4 year old with these coping skills stuck from that perception. This is called soul splitting where one half of you gets stuck coping from that age and the other half of you leaves your body somehow to cope, since we can not run away and survive on our own as children,
Hypnotherapy and timeline therapy is so powerful because from older wiser you that survived and made it through, you can give yourself everything you needed in that moment, soothe, comfort, protect and validate yourself (no matter what age you were a child or adult) and release the stuck emotions and stored energy in your body from this event, as it never leaves until we consciously release it.
You are safe loved and and so worthy of healing from this.
